darkpeakbirder, yes i have seen these birds before , they seem to be resident, couldwe swap emails then i wiill give more details.

I have been to look for the Twite, just once though and no luck on that occasion - I'll pop back again sometime soon.

Still looking for a 100% sure Twite but saw a small flock of birds (7) that ticked all the boxes for flight size, location and habitat but were straight into a hazy sun - so not certain. This was at Digley Reservoir near Holmfirth West Yorkshire - Twite are seen regularly nearby (I'm told) so perhaps this was 90% certain.
