WAXWING! a garden tick to be proud of, you must be over the moon with that one. A lot of people are just happy to see a waxwing out and about, let alone in there garden. Well done with that sighting! cheers steve

Im keeping a garden year list which stands at 55, best sightings so far: red kite,tawny owl, gooseander,snipe, whooper swan, lesser redpoll, yellowhammer, treecreeper, greenwoodpecker, grey wagtail, willow tit. Id be interested in hearing how your garden year list is going? cheers steve

Goosander in a garden? The best I managed last year was Treecreeper and Sparrowhawk. Though about three years ago, I saw a redstart fly out my apple tree.

I am jealous of you all. My TOTAL list for the last three years is: 4 blackbirds 2 blue tits 1 collared dove 4 great tits 1 wren That's it. Three bleedin' years. (On the brighter side, I live within easy reach of RSPB Minsmere...)
