Like Dunnock though often more upright. Gregarious in winter.

Dunnock-like, but lower pitched and more musical. Often in short song-flight.

Rolling chirrup or chirrriririp, or a sharp pyrrt and a Linnet-like tjew-tjew-tjew.

Rocky mountain slopes with sparse vegetation, areas around mountain huts and rocky crags above the tree line. Often descends in winter.
